Founder & Creative Director, Yuvarti Craft Studio
Gurucharan Gupta is a design thinker, cultural entrepreneur, and the driving force behind Yuvarti Craft Studio. A multidisciplinary artist based in Mumbai, he has spent years reinterpreting India’s traditional crafts through a modern design lens — creating a bridge between heritage and contemporary interiors.
After a successful creative journey exploring materials, forms, and storytelling traditions, Gurucharan chose a more purposeful path — one that connects India’s artisan wisdom with today’s architectural spaces.
In 2022, he founded Yuvarti Craft Studio as a collaborative platform that celebrates India’s handmade legacy through murals, terracotta installations, and craft-led wall artworks. Today, the studio is known for its large-scale art interventions, bespoke ceramic concepts, and narrative compositions inspired by Phad, Warli, Madhubani, and Pichwai traditions — adapted to modern contexts across hospitality, residential, and cultural projects.
Under his leadership, Yuvarti works closely with skilled artisans and architects to create immersive, handcrafted experiences that reflect both cultural authenticity and contemporary design sensibility.
Driven by the belief that “art should belong to the space it lives in,” Gurucharan continues to shape Yuvarti as a movement — one that revives traditional craftsmanship while designing the visual stories of modern India.
A Note from the Founder – Gurucharan Gupta
“Art for me has never been decoration — it’s devotion.
Every line, curve, and texture carries a rhythm of life, a connection to the hands that made it and the culture that shaped it.
Through Yuvarti Craft Studio, I wish to bridge the gap between rural craftsmanship and urban design — bringing the warmth of tradition into the elegance of modern spaces.
Each mural we create is not just artwork; it’s a living narrative of India’s soul — reborn on your walls.”
