About the Project
This residential project features a handcrafted Lippan art wall by Yuvarti Craft Studio, inspired by traditional Kutchi mud and mirror art. Designed for modern homes, the artwork uses natural materials, earthy colors, and geometric patterns to create a warm, elegant, and culturally rich interior statement.
Project Intent
This project began with the idea of shaping an entrance that feels warm, personal, and inviting rather than overtly decorative. The wall was designed to quietly welcome residents and guests, setting a calm and balanced mood for the home.
Traditional Lippan (mud and mirror) art became the foundation of the design, reimagined to suit a contemporary residential interior. Natural textures, earthy tones, and soft reflective elements were used to echo a sense of rootedness while keeping the overall expression refined and modern.
The artwork was carefully handcrafted so that every detail adds meaning to the space without overwhelming it. Instead of functioning as a standalone artwork, the wall integrates seamlessly into the interior, enhancing the character of the home and bringing cultural depth into everyday living.
